Professor Bill Langdon returns to GI as an official organiser for 2017. We’re delighted to have Bill back onboard after a hiatus last year.
Bill Langdon has extensive expertise and experience in genetic programming, with more than 100 publications, including three widely cited books. He is the resource review editor for Genetic Programming and Evolvable Machines and a member of the editorial board of Evolutionary Computation. He has organised Bird-of-a-feather discussions, workshops, and special sessions in international conferences such as GECCO (1999, CIGPU 2009, CIGPU 2011), CEC and EvoApplications and has chaired both tracks and been editor-in-chief for GECCO. He co-chaired the EuroGP conference three times. He organised the first Genetic Improvement Workshop at GECCO in Madrid.
